"Let's go to the Los Angeles Metro Zoo," Doug announced as he and Julie got up and beckoned Rod to follow them.

"Don't worry about me, Rod; I'll keep an eye on the children," Lee replied with a sweet smile.

"Rod still seems depressed from last night," Rhonda frowned as Lee shook her head. "Don't worry, Rhonda; hopefully he would be in a brighter mood by the time he gets back from the zoo," she said.

"So Desi, what do you want to do today?" Mona grinned as she approached her twin brother.

"No! Not Grandpa!" Mona wailed.

"Hey, Desi; want to ride on our new blue and yellow hovercraft with Lakota and me?" Kidda offered kindly to the teenage mercenary-in-training.

"Yeah! Let's go explore in the mountains!" Clarissa shrieked as she and Rupert crowed and cawed in excitement.

"These people are crazy," Michelle frowned to Rod.

"I might not even have one because Michael probably knocked me up by now!" Mona snarled as she stormed out of the kitchen in rage.

"Now you did it, young man!" Rod growled as he approached Desi and pulled on his ear at his height "Your going to your room to think about what you've just did!" he snarled as he pulled Desi near the living room and kicked him away "To your room!"

"Okay, grandpa!" Desi wailed as he rubbed his ear and dashed upstairs towards his room

"Grandpa, what a blind brat" Rod muttered to himself

"Wow, that was amazing, Rod; you seem to be good with Desi. He was always such a brat as a child," Carly smiled at Rod with praise.

"Yeah; you might be a better parent than me," Michelle chuckled.

Mona then dashed out of the house with her purse as she dashed through the sidewalk and was now heading out of the neighborhood. She then darted over to a clearing and wandered off into the wilderness as she advanced closer to a nearby forest.

"Mona! Mona! Where are you?" Michael gasped as he wandered through the forest, finding his girlfriend

"I always wondered if I'll ever be one," Michelle sighed.

Mona then entered the darkest and more dangerous part of the forest as she stumbled heavily into a cluster of trees and lay on top of a boulder before she lay down and wept. She then sobbed quietly to herself as she cradled her head in her arms and expressed her anger and grief. But then the winds began to howl loudly and shrilly as a flash of lightning streaked the sky and one of the branches began to crack.

Mona then perked up at a slight sound of a twitch as she whipped around in fear to see who was following her. She froze in terror as she heard low, rumbling growls permeate the thick and chilly air and she flattened herself against a bare trunk while peering out into the darkness.

She then let out a loud gasp as she saw several pairs of glowing, malevolent, yellow eyes peering out at her and an army of dark-furred, scrawny and scruffy looking lions emerged out with cruel expressions on their faces. Many of them had staunched, haggard and bony faces with lanky, gaunt yet seek bodies. One of the lionesses cackled evilly as she stalked menacingly towards Mona and swung a paw right at her, nearly missing her. Mona then whimpered softly as she shook in fear and trepidation.

"Well, what do we have here? A little kitty cat has lost her way home," one of the deep, manly and burly voices spoke out.

"Yeah; I'll bet she would be mighty tasty to eat," a scratchy, hoarse and raspy female voice snickered.

"Isn't that one of the Team Legacy princesses?" a nasally male voice pointed out as the female snorted.

"Of course she is! She is the daughter of the current Queen Consort of Team Legacy. Who else do you think they can be?"

"Too bad they're going to get it now," the other male sneered and the crowd erupted into hysterical, maniacal and sinister laughter before they drew closer towards the young teenage girl.
