"Night, Rod," Rhonda whispered as she drifted off to sleep.

------

"Thanks, Rod," Michelle smirked as she nuzzled her tenderly.

"I'd rather we wait, Rod. It's too soon to have another one since Esperanza was just born recently,' Michelle advised him crisply.

Meanwhile, Lee was standing out on the balcony with the wind blowing in her face as her eyes looked over the vast dark horizon that lay across the landscape. The sky twinkled with tiny, bright stars and the moon shined brilliantly on her with its radiant, heavenly light. Fajah then emerged out into the open as she joined her mother for a midnight view. "I suppose you'd want someone to talk to?" she offered brusquely as Lee sighed while hanging her head limply. Her cigarette still lingered in her hand and she took a brief puff before glancing at her daughter. "What do you want?"

"I want to talk to you, Mother, in case you weren't aware," Fajah growled defensively as Lee rolled her eyes and laughed sardonically. "Oh, please, like you'd open up to anybody."

"Unlike Uncle Lyle, I actually want to help you reconnect with your birth family. I know you're having a difficult time accepting it but I think now would be a good time than any to confide in someone you trust," Fajah shot back mordantly as Lee directed a side glare in her direction. "Since when you even give a damn about me?"

"Since I've realized that I belong to an actual family, one that cares about me for once in my life, rather than whether or not I'd make a good weapon of mass destruction," the younger woman sneered and Lee scoffed as the two engaged in a silent yet bitter glaring standoff. After several minutes of maintaining eye contact, Lee turned away from her and sighed heavily. "I always thought of what I would do if I knew you when you were growing up. I sometimes wondered how I would have raised you in your teens and guided you to become a self-sufficient and productive adult who belongs in society. To think of it, you are around the same age as Rhonda, as strange as it is considering my relationship with her. Maybe you two could have been sisters."

"Yeah, maybe," Fajah nodded and she swallowed hard and chewed on her lip thoughtfully; her bottom lip quivered and she chewed on it while trying to gather up her thoughts. "But I'm not sure if Rhonda would have liked me. I don't think I would have been so kind to her anyway, considering my past."

"You're right about that," Lee nodded firmly as Fajah gazed at her wonderingly. "So you had sex with Lyle?"

"Yes,' Lee mumbled and closed her eyes while hunched over the balcony wall. "As stupid as it may be, I did it. Perhaps I may be carrying his child as we speak."

The two women did not utter another word for several minutes before something dawned on Fajah's mind. "And so would I."

"Yeah, and probably I might have Rod's child too."

"So do you think we'll ever find the 700 experiment series?" Fajah mumbled as Lee dwelled on her comment before she answered. "I hope so, darling. I hope so."

"And about the Carters?"

"We'll see what happens with the Carters. I must prepare myself for the possibility that they might not accept me back into their lives."

"Even if they do not accept you, you still have ohana."

"Yes, I still have that, ohana."

"Ichiriba Chodei," Fajah snickered as she suddenly recalled what Rod said the day of the press conference and Lee chuckled quietly at the memory of his words. "Yeah. Ichiriba Chodei."

Fajah then blushed as she felt his lips touch hers and Lee chuckled demurely with a smirk. "Looks like you're in love," she remarked and Fajah cleared her throat. "Yeah, I guess so," she laughed and she looked at Rooney. "I don't know how I might break it to Heinrich. I'm sure that he will be furious when he finds out that I've found another."

"Don't worry, Fajah; we;ll deal with him if he ever tries to harm you," Lee reassured her young daughter.
