Rod then leaned over to Michelle and kissed her "I cannot continue without you"

Michelle then began coughing as her monitor started beeping rapidly.

"Code blue! Code blue! She's coding!" one of the nurses yelled as she and all the other doctors rushed to her aid. One of them then rushed Rod out of the room as soon as possible.

"Code blue?" Rod whispered with a confused look on his face "Hey!" he growled as he was being rushed out "She's my wife!"

"You need to stay out of this! Let the doctors do their job!" the nurse warned Rod as the curtain closed and there were many shadows of doctors surrounding her. "We're losing her! She's crashing!"

"You wait here," the nurse said as she led Rod into the waiting room. "We'll inform you of any changes."

"You can see her now," the nurse replied as she walked over to Rod.

"She's stable for now. The doctors have managed to bring back her vitals but we won't know for sure," the nurse answered.

"She nearly coded on us and we almost lost her, but we managed to get her stabilized. She's resting now," the nurse explained.

But then, a miracle happened. Michelle slowly came to as she opened her eyes and looked at Rod. Her mouth was still covered in a breathing tube and she was looking around quizzically.

"Michelle!" Rod gasped as he rushed to his side "God, you are okay" he smiled as he hugged her gently and carefully
