"And why should we forgive her? She's nothing but a selfish, promiscuous bitch!" Renee snarled back angrily.

"Why don't you listen to me?!" Rod growled at Renee "Your making her life impossible by ignoring her!" he snarled "She's good now, she won't be evil ever again! Forgive her!"

"How can you even guarantee that? What if she relapses again, like she did several years ago with Artemis?" Renee snapped back as Lee's face paled in dismay and horror. "I think she deserves to suffer for the rest of her life for what she did! She deserves nothing but suffering!"

"My God; why did she even have to mention that?" she stammered in fear.

"You go to hell, Rod! You're not even my real father anyway! I never even had one!" Renee roared indignantly while shrieking hysterically at Rod.

"I-I-I-" Lee stuttered fearfully and sorrowfully as she bolted from the chair and rushed over into the bathroom to cry.

"Thanks a lot, Mother; you made Grandma cry," Lucy retorted sternly at her mother.

"Renee hates me! Doug and Julie hate me now! There is nothing I can do about it! In their eyes I will always have darkness inside me, and they are probably right," Lee wailed as she collapsed into his arms and sobbed hysterically. "Why in God's name must they bring up the time when I got corrupted by Artemis?"

"Who am I kidding? I'm nothing more than a fool! Maybe it's time for me to build a new life and to find a place where I would be better accepted," Lee grumbled with a scoff as she crossed her arms sternly. "Maybe I've outstayed my welcome in this team.It's probably time for me to leave."

"You're lying," Lee hissed spitefully as she pulled away from her husband. "They will never forgive me! Renee probably wishes I was never related to her in any way! Doug probably wishes that he and Julie had never met me! Then we won't all be in this mess!"

Rod then began to cry as he hugged Lee "I am so sorry, Lee!" he sobbed "I even dunno what i am saying!" he whimpered "But please don't leave us, you and Rhonda are my world!"

Lee then shushed him in his ear while petting his head and she stopped his cries with a gentle kiss. After a few minutes, she pulled away from him as she pressed her forehead against his with soft yet demure eyes. "I won't leave anyone in this team, but I do need some time to think alone, if you will allow me."

She then climbed onto the bed and lay down on her side while waiting for Rod to join her.
