Meanwhile, Lee and Rod were resting peacefully in bed with Lee cuddling close to her husband. She then stirred slightly as she heard a soft knock at the door. "Come in," she muttered as the door opened and Natasha, Harok and Rodney came in. "Lee, we need to talk. There is something you should know about why we adopted you."

"Go ahead; I'm listening," Lee retorted as she turned on her back and narrowed her eyes at her parents wistfully.

"Lee," Natasha sighed as she closed her eyes while rubbing her temples. "When you came to us at only three years old, we were in dire financial straints. We struggled to make ends meet with raising Hollisay and your father's business was stalling badly. Plus I had trouble getting pregnant and I had a serious of miscarriages, starting when I gave birth to Hollisay. Hollisay was the most difficult birth and he was born so prematurely that we thought he was going to die, but he didn't. He was too strong-willed to quit, and therefore we should have been grateful to have just him."

"But I wanted more children since I felt my family was not complete and I wanted to be the one to continue our bloodline, so Harok and I had a daughter, Aida. She had a fair complexion with dark brown eyes and the blackest hair I've ever seen. But when she was only two months old, I came to check up on her in her crib and she had inexplicably stopped breathing. We were then told by the doctors that it was due to crib death and he advised us not to have any more children. But we persisted, only to be met with more heartache. And finally, after my last pregnancy, we decided to try adoption."

"However, because of our family background, we were turned down by many adoption agencies. No one in the Soviet Union would allow us to even adopt or foster a child, so we decided our only option was to go to a black market."

"A black market? What are you talking about?" Lee demanded angrily.

"When we contacted an adoption agency that specialized in international adoptions, we were told they had an opening for us and would soon bring us a child to take in. Within a week we were summoned back and we met up with two government agents that spoke to us and that was when we met you."

Natasha then inhaled deeply as she opened her eyes and looked at Lee sadly as to bring back any memories of that day before she continued. "You were so small, so frightened and so terrified of everything about you and you were shivering helplessly. I felt pity and sorrow for you and even at one point you were crying hysterically for your mother. The government agents told us that you were a street orphan whose father abandoned you and whose mother was a prostitute and a crack addict. They picked you and 500 other children up to be adopted as part of the common good. Only until many years later after we adopted you into our family we discovered a horrible truth."

"That Lee was one of hundreds of thousands of Atlantean children forcibly removed from their homes and taken to other countries to be adopted. It was a massive effort by the American government to split up communities by assimilating them with other groups and mixing their bloodlines. Then the more this process is repeated, the more likely it would be for the entire Atlantean culture to be wiped clean and for the race to be eradicated by interbreeding," Natasha added. "So I suppose that the government targeted the neighborhood you were born in for such an operation and they took you because of your budding powers. The Atlanteans wanted to isolate themselves from the entire mainstream society of America since they feel that they will be seen as a threat."

"Oh" Rod nodded

-

Meanwhile, in a dark alley of the Hyperion, Rodney was in his Protoss form, with armor and all, pressing some buttons on his time machine "I cannot believe i am doing this... again!" he cursed to himself as he pressed anotehr button, and in moments, he dissappeared

He then reappeared in a year areound the 1900's (I dunno which year, but let's say that he is some days after Aida's death) in front of an hospital, he then quickly cloaked himself as he entered the hospital through an air duct, he then ccrawled his way towards the disposal room as he finally arrived, then entered the room through the air duct whiel still cloaked "Eenie, meenie mayney..." he muttered silently as he scampered through some baby disposal boxes "Moe, bingo" he smirked as he spotted a disposal containment box labeled 'Aida', he then picked it up as he dissappeared again

He then reappeared again in the dark alley as he deactivated his cloak and went towards the med lab, he then arrived as he got Aida's body on the baby genesis chamber and pressed some buttons before pressing the red button, and in moments, the machine glowed white before Aida's body began to regenerate itself before finishing reviving her

"Wakey wakey, little one" Rodney smiled as he got Aida off the chamber "Your back" he laughed as he tickled her nose

"So that is basically what happened. I think we must take our leave now," Natasha sighed sadly as she and Harok turned to leave, but then Lee got out of bed and grabbed her shoulder. "Just a minute," she hissed as Natasha glanced over to face her cold, hard and angry eyes. "Where the hell did you get Miska? And two, what are the names of my real parents?"

"We got her from another adoption agency to avoid suspicion," Natasha snapped belligerently as she pulled away from her daughter. "We do not know where she came from. For all I know she could have come from a broken home. And if you want to know the names of your real parents, look at the copy of your original birth certificate."

Aida then began to babbled animatedly while giggling softly. Natasha then gaped in astonishment as she was overcome with shock and joy at finally having her baby again. "My little babushka," she whispered as she walked over to the tiny infant and cradled her gently in her arms. Aida then hiccuped while nuzzling her face tenderly. "Ma-ma," she squeaked.

"Who is this?" Lee sneered with a scowl as she bristled angrily at the baby.

"That little brat that was replaced by me? I want her out of here! Get her out of my sight! I never want to lay eyes on her as long as I live!" Lee shrieked angrily as she flailed her arms violently. Aida then whimpered softly as she began to cry.

"But if it weren't for her, then I would have never been ripped apart from my own home and be separated from my family!" Lee shouted angrily as she took off out a plasma blaster and then aimed it at Aida. "This ends now!"

(Okay, bye)

"Fine," Lee sighed as she put her gun away. "As long as they never speak to us ever again and this brat never shows her face around here again."

"Fine," Natasha nodded as she turned to Harok. "Let's go home; I'm afraid Lee no longer has any use for us."

"Okay," Harok sighed sadly as he and Natasha waved goodbye sadly and they disappeared into thin air with Aida.

(Hey, did ya missed me?)

"Wait wait wait!" Rod growled as he stepped in front of Harok and Natasha "I'll get things clear, i want forgiveness in ehre, cuz no matter what, you are legally Lee's parents, and i wanna you to be okay with her" he told them, then turned to Lee "And Lee, from a hated child to another one, i think you should forgive them, cuz we cannot be mad at our parents forever, we GOTTA be okay with them!" he explained

(Damn, that farm game is so relaxing XD)

"Maybe it's cuz i don't want to fix up things with them" Rod rolled his eyes "But you've got the point, i wanna you to end up well cuz i care for both you and Lee since they are a family to me" he explained "Now, give yourselves a hug and say sorry" he told them sternly "Let's forget this adoption thing and get along, cuz i don't wanna Lee to end up sad just because their parents adopted her" he sighed "Now, forgive yourselves and hug"

(I'm glad you like it, Rod)

Fine, Lee seethed inwardly in rage as she took a deep breath and unclenched her fists before she marched up to her parents and held out a hand. Natasha then glanced coldly at her husband as she handed Aida to him and then approached her daughter; within moments she swept her into a open embrace and Lee hugged her only halfheartedly as she glared fiercely into her eyes. Natasha then kissed her forehead as she petted her hair and cradled her. "I love you, Lee; please, for our sake and for yours, let go of your hate."

"I'll try," Lee answered in a raspy, hoarse voice as she pulled back and Harok went over to hug his daughter as he sniffled into her shoulder. "I love you too, Lee; no matter what happens, you will always be my little girl."

"I know, Papa," Lee muttered in a flat and emotionless voice as she sighed and brushed off her face. "I'll forgive you both, for now, but I just need time to process my feelings. If you'll only allow me."

"Of course, babushka and if you'll ever need us, just give us a call," Harok nodded as he placed his hands on her shoulders and looked deeply into her eyes. "You can't just cast us aside, you know. We raised you and took care of you, and most importantly, your family. And with the way things have been going for you for so many years, that is the only thing you'll ever have."

"And living beings can't live in the Underworld, so I think it is best if Aida stays here with you and Rod," Harok added as he handed Aida to Lee and Natasha turned her gaze to Rod. "Take good care of my little girl. She's the only one I ever had."

"No, I think it's best if she stays here," Harok insisted. "Besides, you already brought her back to life and she deserves to live a life. It would be a waste to have to kill her again just so she can live with us in the Underworld."

"And I think I can help Lee sort out her problems," Marlena announced as she walked into the room.
